We have a few decorations but please bring along anything you think might add to the space. Thanks!

HB’s Ice-cream fun day at Powerstown ETNS, June 1st, 2018
It’s that time of year again - Powerstown ETNS will host our HB Ice Cream Fun day in aide of Down Syndrome Ireland!
On June 1st, each class will be getting their own delicious ice-cream to enjoy! We are asking all the boys and girls to donate €2 for this brilliant cause, Down Syndrome Ireland.
Down Syndrome Ireland is an organisation that is working to provide an Irish society where people with Down Syndrome have the same basic human rights to healthcare, education, employment opportunities and decision making as all other citizens. Please support this great cause!
We've had a great day here in the Redwood Class celebrating lots of different countries! We did our presentation on Morocco for the parents and then took part in the parade! The parade started a little earlier than planned so there were some unfinished flags but it didn't stop us having fun! There were so many different countries represented by our class which was great to see! After we got to look at all the finished projects in the hall!
Parent teacher meetings are taking place next week. Letters went home yesterday and below you will find the full timetable. If your allocated time doesn't suit and you would like to meet me another time, please just email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I'll be happy to reschedule for a different time the following week.
This morning we were very lucky! Enda came into our class to talk to us about being more environmentally friendly! Enda also writes his own music and sang some environmental songs for us too! We also got to hold the fossil of an ammonite which was passed around the class!
Today we got to make bird habitats out of willow! It was difficult to start with but we got the hang of it!
Redwood are currently putting the finishing touches to our factfiles on Morocco! We're going to design some traditional Moroccan tiles later!
